RE: Site Name: CRAN RWOR EUG02 012F
Pole: New 34'4" A. L.G Wood Pole
SCIP ID#: 18934-012F
Site Address: 1210 Mohawk Blvd
Springfield, OR 97477
County: Lane County
Jurisdiction: City of Springfield
Project Description: Structural Analysis for a Wood Pole Replacementwith a maximum
allowable height increase up to -34'-4" A.G.L.
To Whom It May Concern:
We were commissioned by AT&T to perform a structural analysis of the above referenced
project for AT&T proposed antenna implementations. The intent of our analysis is to determine
a wood pole replacement for the existing 29'-0" wood pole, No. 69133, located at 1210 Mohawk
Blvd., Springfield, OR capable of supporting AT&T's proposed antenna implementations.
Our structural analysis was performed based on the requirements set forth by the National
Electrical Safety Code (NESC 2017). The maximum anticipated pole stress usage is expressed
as a percentage of overall capacity as a result of the associated NESC Rule 250B Construction
Grade C. For pole structural analysis, referto O -Calc Pro Analysis Report. It should be noted
that the structural analysis is limited to computer assisted structural analysis and theorical
capacity of the pole. If the pole is of lower material grade than the assumed material strength
used in the analysis, additional capacity may not exist. As such, J5 Infrastructure Partners will
be notified in which a revised structural analysis will be required.
Proposed New -34'-4" AGL Pole Replacement:
Length of Pole: 45 ft.
Pole Class: 5
Min. Embedment: 10'-8"
Wood Species (Fiber Strength): Douglas -Fir (8000 psi)
Existing power lines: At 28'-2" (assumed for the purpose of this structural analysis)

Stress Usage:
Pole = 30%
Due to limited data, J5 Infrastructure Partners made certain assumptions regarding our
evaluation. The new pole replacement and embedment are presumed to be properly installed in
accordance with all applicable codes. All mounted antenna mounts, and relevant equipment are
presumed to be properly fastened and in good reliable structural condition throughout the
lifetime of the pole. Should any structural elements be deemed to be altered, J5 infrastructure
Partners shall not be held liable for any structural deficiencies.
Based on ourfindings, the existing 29'-0"wood pole, No. 69133, located at 1210 Mohawk Blvd.,
Springfield, OR can be replaced with a new 45' -Class 5 wood pole w/ 10'-8" min. embedment as
per ANSI or equivalent.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (949) 247-7767.
