The existing garage has a fully plumbed bathroom already and will be used in the same area in the new proposed floor plan. The garage footprint is to remain and will not be expanded upon other than a new porch shown in the floor plan. There will be a new floor installed above the 4" concrete slab hung off rim joists to raise the floor level Y -O". The roof of the garage will be raised in order to accommodate the necessary head height(s). The roof is to remain intact and re -used as able. We will also be installing a new laundry line adjacent to the bathroom for the guests. We will also be installing a kitchen in the southeast corner of the building. Roof eaves and pitch to match primary residence per SDC 5.5-130 Design Standards. Roof height not to exceed primary residence.
