Timeline Extension Request
Dear Jim:
We request a 2 -year extension to the Plat Pre -Submittal meeting regarding the tentative
subdivision approval that was provided on March 01, 2019 (811-19-000012-TYP2). We
purchased the property from the previous owner, who was the tentative subdivision applicant,
on June 19, 2019.
The reasons for submitting this request are because of the following:
1. Safety and financial impacts of Covid19.
2. Impact of the upcoming revision to the Springfield Development Code (SDC). These
revisions are important to the planning process, and the design and implementation of
the public improvements that include items such as fire lanes, utility locations, driveway
curb cuts, act.
Our general proposed timeline would be as follows:
• March 1, 2019: Type II Tentative Subdivision Staff Report & Decision (811-19-000012-
TYP2 (Map 17-03-26-14, TLs 1600 & 1701))
• June 30, 2022: Springfield Development Code update by this date
• Develop Final Plat Pre -Submittal materials, and Private and Public Improvements design
and documentation
• September 1, 2022: Submit Public Improvement construction documents
• October 1, 2022: Final Plat pre -submittal meeting
• Before March 1, 2023: Final Plat Approved and Recorded, Private and Public
Improvements construction documents are bonded and permitted
• March 2023 Start Private and Public Construction
