ITEM TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT P21131;
MAINTENANCE HOLE REHABILITATION 2019
ACTION
REQUESTED:
Adopt or reject the following resolution:
A RESOLUTIOIN TO ACCEPT CITY PROJECT P21131; MAINTENANCE
HOLE REHABILITATION 2019
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
The work on this project has been completed by Wildish Construction Co, and final
inspection, paperwork and approval has been completed by City Staff. The Project
is now ready for City Council to formally accept the work.

DISCUSSION/
FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
This project included the surface rehabilitation and preservation of fifteen
maintenance holes at various locations around Springfield.
This project has been completed with the final cost of $102,145 which consists of
$63,598 for construction and $38,547 for project development and administration
of the construction contract.
All work done under this contract has been completed and inspected by the City
Engineer and found to be satisfactory.

RESOLUTION NO. ___________
ACCEPTANCE
WHEREAS, work on the improvement described below has been fully completed and has been
duly inspected by the City Engineer of the City of Springfield:
P21131; MAINTENANCE HOLE REHABILITATION 2019
WHEREAS, said work was found to be in conformance with the terms of the contracts now on
file in the City Recorder’s office; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that these improvement projects be
accepted and permanently included in the improvement maintenance program of the City of
Springfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SPRINGFIELD:
Section 1: The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby accept for
future maintenance the above-described project and accepts said improvement from the
Developer involved.
Section 2: This Resolution will take effect upon adoption by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this 1st day of February
2021, by a vote of _____ for and ____ against.
