Dear Mr. Kyriake:
At your request, the Building Division of the City of Sprinofrield made a housinginspection on August 23,7978, at 922 North 5th street,'springf.ield, 0regon
The following'items must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform Hous-ing Code as adopted by the C'ity of Springfield:
1. lf the garage'is to be used as a bedroom, a window with an openable area of24" high_and 20" wide wjth the sill not over 44" from the floor must be pro-vided. If the garage is to be any k'ind of habitial room, the garage doors mustbe replaced with an approved wall.
2. All crawl space vents must be screened.
3 Replace leak'ing basket strainer in the sink and provide shut off valve at thewater heater.
4. Rep.lace'laundry tub faucet. There may be a poss'ible cross connection in the
hose in the tub, if so, omit.
5. Provide gate valve on water heater and pipe pressure relief valve to the out-side of the house.
6. The hall light and switch are missing.
7. The fuses in.the sub-pane1 are too small to carry the load demanded by the app-liances on these circuits. These circuits could be carried back to tire mainpanel and appropriate breakers installed.
All necessary permits shall be obtained before work starts and all work shall beaccomplished according to applicable codes and inspected before a Certificate ofCompliance will be issued.
