Our records further show that the appliance is installed incorrectly creating a potential fire and life safety hazard. The installation of this appliance shall be in accordance with State safety codes or the appliance shall be removed. If you choose to remove the stove, an inspection request shall be made to this office to verify removal. This potential hazard shall be corrected within ten (10) days from the date of this letter. In the event that you have not taken corrective action within the prescribed time limits, this matter will be referred to the City Attorney's office for further action. If you have any questions regarding this letter, the violation or the required correction, please contact the Springfield Building Safety Division at 726-3759, Thank you for your attention to this matter.
