To date the plans and required permits for this construction have not been obtained. Section 304 of the Springfield Building Safety Code Adminlstratlve Code provides in part: trApplications for vhich no permit ls issued vithin tBO days following the date of. applicatlon shall expire by Iimitation, and plans and other data submitted for reviev may thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the Bullding 0ffieial. The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not to exceed 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from belng taken. No application shall be extended more than once. In order to renev action on an applieation after expiration, the applicant shall resubmlt plans and pay a nev plan reviev fee.rl Prior to this offlce destroying your plansr You have tvo optlons to consider. 1. If you have decided not to build at this time, but vould llke your plans returned to your you vi}l need to pick them up at thls office vithin ten (10) days of reeeipt of this notlce. 2. To write and request that a 180 day extension be granted, explalning the circumstances that have prevented you from obtaining your permits.
