HomeMy WebLinkAboutApplication APPLICANT 9/22/2020 (2)Larissa Tetzler, RN 955 260 St Springfield, OR 97477 September 22, 2020 RE: Purposed ADU at 955 26th Springfield Planning and Development, Enclosed are the proposed plans in hopes of adding an ADU to my existing home at 955 26th St. Springfield, OR 97477. My plan in buying this home was to live in part of the home, being close to work at McKenzie -Willamette Medical Center while using the other area as an ADU. I learned that part of the home was not permitted and am moving forward to demolish the un -permitted part of the home. My goal is to rebuild the section that was not permitted, so that it is up to code as an ADU. I am currently in the process of demolishing the non -permitted section which includes a garage that was converted into a bedroom. I am currently proposing the following improvements: 1) Replacing the two bedrooms with one bedroom and an additional bonus room on the second floor. This will be part of the ADU along with a portion of the existing home. 2) The north east section of the primary residence which includes a half bath, and multi- use area with washer/dryer closet, will be turned into a full bath/utility room and a second bedroom. I have measured the existing street parking and am planning on using street parking for my ADU. The plans will show that the ADU is less than 800 sq ft per ADU requirements and will blend with the existing building in matters of finish materials, and design. This includes, windows, roof pitch, trim and the length of the eaves. Thank you for your help and consideration, Larissa Tetzler, RN
