The ADU will have a kitchen, bathroom, living, and sleeping area that are completely independent from the primary dwell in g. • The ADU will have an outside entrance that is separate from the entrance to the primary dwelling, and a hard surface walkway (wider than the 3' min. required) will be provided from the primary entrance of the ADU to the street and walkway serving the primary dwelling. • The proposed ADU is 672 s.f. total, comprised of 500 s.f. on the ground floor and a 172 s.f. loft. This does not exceed the 800 sq. ft. maximum, and it is smaller than the existing primary dwelling (which is 929 s.f.). • Garbage cans wil I be obscured from view from nearby properties. • The required parking space for the ADU shall be provided via existing paved on -street parking directly abutting the property. The abutting street includes parking on both sides of the street, and there are no adopted plans to remove the on -street parking.
