Dear Mr. Swanson:
Our records indicate that on August 2l ,1996, you submitted plans for the proposed construction ol"an
addition to your residence located at3420 Virginia, Springfield, Oregon. To date, the plans anclrequired
permits for this construction have not been obtained.
The Springfield Building Saf'ety Codes Administrative Code states that "Applications fbr which no permit
isissuedwithin I80daystbllowingthedateofapplicationshall expirebylirnitation,andplansandother
data submitted fbr review may thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the Building
Official." The Code further states that, "The Building Official rnay extend the time Ibr action by the
applicant lbr a period not exceeding 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances
beyond the control ofthe applicant have prevented action liom being taken. No application shall be
extended more than once. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the applicant shall
resubmit plans and pay a new plan review fee."
If you would like your plans returned to you, please phone me within ten (10) days from the date of this
letter and I would be happy to mail them to you. If I do not hear from you within ten (10) days, I will
destroy the plans.
