Friscia, an electrica'l safety inspection was conductedat the above address on March 3,1983. At that time substandard and hazardous con- ditions were found to exist in violation of the Uniform Housing Code and the 0regonElectrical Safety Code as adopted by the City of Springfield,Oregon. The following items must be repaired or replaced in conformance with app'licable codes: ELECTRICAL SAFETY The electrical system has been improperiy altered and maintained and constitutes hazardous wiring as described in Section 1001 (e) of the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield. Although the existing electrical system may have met the standards of the code that was in effect at the time of its instal-lation, alterations, and/or improper maintenance require corrections to be madein accordance w'ith both the Uniform Hous'ing Code as adopted by the City of Spring-field and the current 0regon State Electrical Specialty Code (E.S.C.). Oregon Electrical Safety Law Section 22-110 (b) states that electrical work performed on property that is for rent, sale or lease, shall be done by an electrical con- tractor. 1) Instal I neur el ectrical service panel . Ex'isting panel is not adequate for loads and circu'its required. National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) 230 & 240 2) Install separate #10 A.t^I.G. circuit for water heater with its own branch circu'it over current device (circuit breaker). N.E.C. 220-2, 220-3 3) Install separate #10 A.tl.G. circuit for clothes dryer with its own branch circuit over current device. N.E.C. 220-2, 220-3 4) Have your electrician perform maintenance on circuits and devices (lights plugs and switches) to correct the flickering lighting problem.
