The City has received a complaint that the property listed above is in violation of aSpringfield Ci_ty Code and/or ordinance. Rather than issuing a citation or taking
immediate legal action, it is the City's standard practice to inform citizens of theviolation and request that it be corrected vithin a reasonabl-e time.
SPECIFIC VIOLATION: Section 1.6.020 of the Springfield Development Code and Secrion
rengfieIdBui1dingSafetyCodes.Thepropertyiszonedandwas
approved for one single family dvelling unit. An inspection of rhe property verifiedat least tvo separate dwelling units are being utilized at this location.
Section 16.020(5)(S) of the Springfield City Code prohibits the use of recrationalvehicles as dvelling units. The complaint involved a third unit as a recreationalvehicle located at the rear of the property vhich has utilities connected.
9ity-and County records for this_property shov approvals for only one single familydvelling unit. Only one single family dvelling unit is permitted in the tow DensiiyResidential zoning district. This property is zoned and has a Mid-Springfield
Refinement Plan and Metropolitan Area General PIan Designation of tov OensityResidential.
