The follow'ing'items must be installed, repaired or replaced to conform to the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield: STRUCTURAL AN DF AND LIFE SAFETY 1. Chimney support is of insuffic'ient sjze or strength to carry imposed load of masonry chimney. (Section 1001 Uniform Housing Code) 2. Dwel I ing un'it shal l be prov'ided with heatinq facil ities capabl e of maintain'inq a room temperature of 700-F at a point 3 feet above the floor in all habitable rooms. (Section 1001 Uniform Housing Code and Section 1311 Structural Speciaf ity Code ) 3. W'indows must be openable to provide necessary vent'ilat'ion and means of egress (Section 801 and 503 Uniform Hous'ing Code) ELECTRICAL SAFETY 1. Install not less than a No.6 copper grounding conductor from service panel neutral bus to an outs'ide grounding e'lectrode. (Section 250.94 National Electrical Code ) ?. .Install not less than No. 6 copper grounding condutor from serv ice panel rovedneutral bus to an interior cold water p'ipe, terminating with an ap service ground'ing c1amp. (Section 250-94 Nat'ional Electrical Code 3. Remove sp]iced conductors through I iv'ing room I ight f ixture. (Section 410-30 (c), 410-39, and 300-15 (a) National Electrical Code) 4. Remove kinked conduit below service pane1. (Section 348-9 National Electrical Code ) 5. Install cover on washer outlet. (Section 370-18 (c)) 6. Install not larger than 125 amp main breaker in pane1. I\0. 1 aluminum service conductor. (Section 230-90 (a)) p ) Occupancy Inspection Page 2. SAIIITATIOII: 1. l,Jater heater will require a new pressure relief valve, with drain, and piped to the exterior of the bu'ilding. (Sect'ion 1007 Plumbing Spec'iality Code) 2. 3/4 inch gate valve shut off requ'ired on cold water suppl-v. (Sect'ion 1005 Plumbing Special ity Code) 3. Water closet in bath does not meet min'imum clearance requirements. (Sect'ion 907 Pl umbi nq Special i t-v Code) All necessary permits shall be obtained before work starts and all work shall be accomplished according to applicable codes and inspected before a Certificate of Compf iance wiiI be issued.
