Dear Mr. & Mrs. Sa1ing:
The sewer project serving your area has been completed and has been
accepted by the City Council.
Since it is necessary for the health of the corruraunity to require all
properties to connect to the sanitary sewer. as soon as it beco'mes
"r"il"tt., Chapter 2, Article 1O of the Springfield City Code requires
that all property within 120 feet of a public sewer lateral must connect
to said sewer lateral.
Therefore, this is your notice to connect to the sewer; the work shall
be completed within 60 days from the date of this letter.
The sanit.ary sewer connection fee of $100.00 is payable at the time a
per-mit is written. The pemit fee ot$t0.30 can be obtained at the
Building Department at 346 Mai.n Street. If you plan to do the work-
yourself, we have a diagram of construction details that will be furn-
ished at your request. If you have any further questions, please call
747-422L anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday thro.rgh Friday.
