Dear Business Owner:
Your building plans were received by this office for review. The
Springfield Development Code requires that expansion of a multi-family,
commercial, semi-public or industrial structure involving 2,000 square feet
or more but less than 4,000 square feet of gross floor area receive Type I
Plot Plan approval. Because your proposed addition invo'lves 3,000 square
feet this approval must be applied for and granted.
I have enclosed the appropriate forms for your use in applying for Plot
Plan approval. The application enclosed rvill provide you with the
information necessary to apply. The process takes approximately 10 days to
compl ete.
