Dear Mr. Wint.erowd:
Safety-Kleen Corp. is a solvent recycling eompany which currently operates a
sales/service center, at 550 Shelly Street in Springfield. This facility is
presently undergoing permi.t revlew by the Oregon Department of EnvironmenEal
Quality, to store hazardous waste. This application requires the subnittal,
by Safety-Kleen, of the attached Land Use Conpatlbility Statement. The
statement must be completed by the appropriate land use authoriEy.
The following information has been enclosed:
l) A facility description;
2) A proposed Site Plan;
3) A Waste Analysis Abstract which llsts the materials to be stored, t,heir
EPA waste codes, their storage locations and the amount of waste the
faeility is expected Eo manage in one year;
4) Copies of letters received sent to local emergency response teams; and
5) Two copies of the form to be compleEed.
The review of the permit application cannot proceed wlthouE the submittal of
the attached form, therefore, your timely response will be greatly
appreciated. Please complete the form and return lt to me 1n the enclosed
envelope.
