Enclosed please find a check to cover the cost of theCity of Springfield's Zoning Code. f would appreciate your
sending the Code along to me as quickly as possj-bIe.
As you know, I am also interested in informationabout an industrial facility located at 886 Shelley Street and
451 Shelley Street (the "Property"). The Property is currently
occupied by the Michigan Knife Company. I understand that theProperty is zoned for light and medium industrial uses and thatpermitted uses in the zone include the manufacture and repairof bandsaw and machine knife blades, offices associated withthe manufacturing use, warehouses, and fenced outdoor storageareas. I also understand that the Property went through theCity's site review approval process several years ago. f wouldappreciate it if you would send me a copy of the staff report
and decision from the site review process, and any other
information you have about the Property.
f would also appreciate a written confirmation fromyou, or another member of the City staff, that the Property hasobtained all of the building permits and land use approvalsrequi-red by the City of Sprj-ngfie1d, and is in compliance withthose land use approval-s and the City Zoning Code. Please 1et
me know if the City has taken enforcement actions against theProperty in the past, or if there are any such actions orcitizen complaints now pending against the Property.
