easement area of your property. Pennants, prohibited by the Sign0rdinance, are also being used at this location. The satellite oishesand sign must be moved out of the 20 foot p'lanting easement area; the
pennants must be removed entirely.

9-7-17 Under Marquee Signs. Si gns Iocated under marquees shalI, not exceed twelve
(12) inches in height, nor extend beyond the width of the marquee, and
sha'll not be less than eight feet six inches (8'6") above the sidewalk or grade Iine.
Such signs shall be exempt from the sign district regulationslr€xcept in the resi-
dential district.
9-7-18 Illumination. All si gns and other illumination within the city:shal'l be
subject to the following restrictions upon illutiination:
(.1) No exposed reflective type bulb, no strobe light or incandescent
lamp which exceeds fifteen (15) watts shall be used so as to expose the face of the
bu'lb, li0ht or lamp to any pub'lic street.
r Q) No blinking or f,lashing light or group of lights shall be allowed as
part of a sign, except for signs giving time and temperature information with this
type of lighting limited solely to that portion of the sign which provides such
i nformati on.

9-7-19 Prohibited Sig1s. No sign shalI be constructed, erected or maintained:
(1) Which bears or contains statements, words or pictures of an obscene,
indecent or immoral character, such as will offend public rprals or decency.
(2) Hhich purports to be, or is an imitation of, or resembles an official
traffic sign or Signal, or which bears the words "STOP.ri rrc0 SLOW," "CAUTI0N..
"DANGERT" "WARNING," or similar words:
(-3) Which, by reason of its size, location, movement, content, coloring
i.-i or manner of illumination may be confused with or construed as a traffic control
device, or which hides from view any traffic or street sign or signal.
(4) Which advertises or publicizes an activity, business, product, or
service not conducted on the premises upon which such signs are maintained, except
as provided in section 9-7-13.
