In this regard, Chapter 2, Article 10 of the Springfield City Code requires that al1 property within 120 feet of a public sewer lateral connect thereto. Therefore, please accept this'as your invjtation and notice to connect to the publ'ic sewer. The connection should be completed by you, or by a private contractor hired"by you, on or before June 2, 1980. When you (or your contractor) are ready,to begin work, please remember thatit will be necessary to obtain a plumbing permit from this office. Also, Chapter 2, Article 10 of the City Code requries that a $100.00 connectjonfee be paid prior to connecting to the public sewer. For your convenience,thjs fee may be paid at the time you obta'in the plunrbing permit.
