The public sanitary sewer lateral recently constructed alonq 17th, 18th, and S
Streets has been accepted by the City Council and is now available to serve
your property.
In this regard, Chapter 2, Article 10 of the Springfield City Code requires
that al1 property within 120 feet of a public sewer lateral connect thereto.
Therefore, please accept this'as your invjtation.and notice to connect to
the publjc sewer. The connectjon should be completed by you, or by a private
contractor hjred'by you, on or before June 2, 1980.
When you (or your contractor) are ready,to begin work, please remember thatit will be necessary to obtain a plumbing permit from this office. Also,
Chapter 2, Article i0 of the City Code requries that a $100.00 connection
fee be paid prior to connecting to the public sewer. For your conven'ience,
th.is fee may be paid at the tirne you obta'in the plurnbing permit.

(726-3769) when this stage of constructjon is reached. If you plan to do
