1. The wood stove and chimney are installed to close to combusttble surfaces'
The stove and chimney must either be reinstalled to meet the installatlon
requirements for thai speclfic unit, or installed to meet the mlnimum
requirements as listed in the Hechanlcal Speclalty Code. If you choose not
to reinstall the stove in an approved mannerr the stove must be removed.
Z. The range is placed too close to combustible surfaces. The range must be
reinstalled ti provide a minlmum clearance of a 30 lnches above the unit.
3. In order to prevent the entrance of sewer gas into the structure, a trap
must be installed on the vashing machine stand pipe'
STRUCTURAL
1. Dryrot exlsts ln the roof sub-sheathing over the front porch. The dryrot
must be removed.
Z. The concrete front porch has deteriorated to a point of belng potentially
unsafe. The porch must either be repalred or replaced.

2. THE ROOF HAS BEEN INSPECTED FOR DRYROT AND IT WAS FOLIND THAT NO DRYROT EXISTS
ANIYWHERE ON OR AROUND THE SUBSHEATHING OR IN AI\Y OTHER PART OF THE ROOF.
I AM WRITING AT THIS POINT TO ASK FOR ATI EXTENSION ONI THE TIME IT WILL TAKE TO
GET THESE REMAINING THIS TAKEN CARE OF. I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY WITH MY WORK AND
AJV1 QUITE LATE IN GETTING THIS LETTER TO YOU. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE TARDINESS.
