Due t'o more stringent standards for woodst.ove saf ety and emissions,we cannot retroactively issue permirs t& tne ;;i;;i"g sroves. ourrecommendation is that t.he stoves and their *"C"i chimneys beremoved at this time, ds wg can give no assurance of theircompriance with any instal-lation staridards, and thl- irr=trtrat, ionsmay be unsafe. rf you wish to provide woodstoves for the t,enants,we require t'h.at appropriate permits and inspections be obtainedf rom this of f ice rbr any now instariaiiorrs.
As a side note, our records show that the heat source for theseunit.s is electric ceil j-ng heat. rt. is unlikely Lr."l- trr" chimneyfor a wood stove could be installed without interrupting theceiling heat wiring. we recommend that you have an electriciancheck out the ceiring heat in the rooms iri question-.--
