S-67-35 Springfleld Plannlng Commisslon) to rezone certain property Io-
cated on the west slde of North l6th Street, being 1490 North l6th Street,
from lta exlstlng R-l Slngle Family Resldentlal Dlstrict to R-2 Multiple
Fanlly Regidential Dlstrict clasel.flcationi and
WHEREAS, The prospectlve change of zone ln such area ls in accordance
wlth and ln furtherance of the logical and orderly development and compre-
henslve zoning plan of the ctty of Spri.ngfleldl and
WIIEREAS, The Council ie desirous of allowlng such zone change but,
does not desLre that the zone be changed and held ln a vacant conditionfor speculatlve pulposeo and it theref,ore appearing to be ln the publicinterest that the Resolutlon of Intent procedure as herein eet forth be
followed:
BE IT TIIEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COT'NCIL OF THE CIIY OF

1. The Common Council of the Clty of Springfield does hereby
tesolve lts intent to rezone by appropriate ordinance within
one (f) year from the date of thls resolutlon the following
described propertyr
Property located at 1490 North 16th Street from R-I Slngle
Family Resldentlal Dlstrlct to R-2 ltlu1tiple Eamlly Residential
Dlgtrict by appropriate ordinance rezoni.ng the Eame.
2. That said ordlnance rezoning the property hereinabove described
wtL1 be adopted only upon the happening of the following conditions:
a. That an acceptable site plan be submltted within slx (6)
monthg of @uncil actlon.
b. That constructlon be completed withln one (1) year of
elte plan approval.
3. In the event the foregolng condltlona are not complled wlth,
wlthin the times herelnabove menti.oned, then and ln that event this
resolution of lntent sha1l be of no further force and effect, and
in the event of auch compllance, the Council does affirru ltg inten-tlon to rezone such property ae hereLnabove atated.
