Dear Mr. & Ivlrs. Schrader:
On March 19, 1980, at your request, the Buitd.ing Division of the City of Spring-
field. made an occupancy inspection of the structure located at 1l+0 North 1\th
Street, Springfield, Oregon.
The proposed. change of use from a retail food varehouse to a manufacture and'
retait outl-et for r.rood stoves necessitated the occupancy inspection. The pro-
posed new use of the structure r.rill classify it as a mixed- occupancy; H-2
being the assembLy and manufacturing portion, and B-2 being the retail sales
outlet and office.
1'he following are particular items vhich shal-l be installed., repaired. or replaced-
in ord.er to conform the the State Building Code:
1) A detailed set of prints and specifications of required spray booth, showing
size, location, instal1-ation, and. ventilation that shall comply vith the Uni-
form Mechanical Code, National Electrical Cod.e and rrith Fire Marshal-r s require-
ments.
2) There sha11 be a eomplete separation of nixed. occupancies by no less than one
hour fire rated valls.
3) Remove or repair all damaged and improperly installed conduits and branch cir-
cuits vhich are not properly secured.
l+) Remove cords vhich are being used in fieu of an approved- viring method.
5) Remove or repair aI1 damaged light fixtures. Install only approved fi-xtures'
6) Seal all unused. knockout holes in boxes and put proper covers on boxes and panels'
T) Install adequate feeders and branch circuits from approved' service panels to prop-
erly serve the lights and equipment.
S) Install proper size of circuit conductors and prcper size overload branch circuit
deyices. Note Art,icle 210, Section 2lO-23 etc., also Article )+OO of the State
Electrical SpecialitY Code.

9) At the least, the mini-mum electrical standards sha11 be maintained. at arltimes.
A11 property that is being 1eased., rented or sold is required. to be vired. by alicensed. el-eetrical- contractor.
All- neeessary permits shal-l be obtained. before work starts and. arl work shal_l- beaceomplished' according to applicable cod.es and inspected. before a certificate ofCompliance vill- be issued.
