Plans, Fees, and Charges:'Prior to receiving a permit to move a building to property
with'in the City, the appl jcant or h'is/her authorized representative must:1. Submit two copies of a site or plot plan for the new site.2. Submit two copies of a foundation plan for the relocated building.3. 0btain a permit covering the new foundat'ion, as weil as al1 plumbing, mechanical
and electrical work relating to the relocated bu'i1ding.4. Pay the Systems Development Charge, if applicable.
Sewer Cap: Buildings to be moved from within the City limits shall have the sewer
capped at the property line and inspectedoneworking day prior to the move. If the
inspection indicates that the ser{er has not been properly capoed, the moving permitwill be revoked.

RE: Occupancy Inspection at t92 South Llth Street, Springfield, Oregon
Dear Mr. Yarbrough:
At your request the Building Division of the City of Springfield conducted an 0ccupancy
Inspection of the building located at 1"92 South J.1th Street, Springfield, Oregon on
July 17, 1981.
The proposed use of the building as an office type business will categorize its usage
as a B-2 0ccupancy.
The following items shall be installed, repaired, or replaced in order to conform to
all applicable codes for that occupancy:

1) The existing living room area shal1 be provided with natural ventilation by means-of exterior openings with an area not less than 1/20th of the total floor area, or
shal1 be provided with a mechanically operated ventilation system capable of pro-
viding a minimum of five (5) cubic feet per minute of outside air with a total
circulation of not less than 1"5 cubic feet per minute per occupant and such system
shal1 be kept continuously in operation during such time as the building is occupied.

2) The bathroom window shall be made openable to provide the necessary ventilation for
that area. S.S.C.705
3) The bathroom floor shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface which extends up-
ward onto the wa11s at least five (5) inches. S.S.C. 1711.
4) The rise of every step in a stairway shall not be greater than 7k inches nor less
than 10'r in run. The greatest riser height within any flight of stairs sha11 not
exceed the smallest by more than 3/8 inch. S.S.C. 5305
5) Stairways shal1 have handrails on each side and placed not less than 50 inches nor
more than 34 inches above the nosing of the treads. S.S.C. 3505 (j)
6) The walls and soffits of the enclosed space under the stairway shal1 be protected
on the enclosed side as required for one-hour fire resistive constmction. S.S.C.

7)The under-floor areas shall be yentilated by an apProved mechanical means or
by openings in the exterior foundation walls, Such openings shal1 have a net
area of not less than 7r-z square feet for each 25 linear feet of exterior wa1l.

The existing brick chirnney is not approved for a solid fuel burning appliances
and sha11 be permanently sealed. S.S.C. 708
Exterior walls less than 20 feet from the property 1ine, except those fronting
on streets, shall be of t hour rated fire resistive construction- S.S.C. 504

inspections shall be re-examined by a licensed electrician and corrections nade
