Oregon Administrative Ru1es, Chapter 340, Division 7, which reads; "Each pnd every
owner of the real property abandoned, or which has been abandoned, sha11 have allthe sludge from the septic tank, seepage pit or cesspool removed by a person hold-ing a sewage disposal service license, and shall fill same with clean bar-run gra-
ve1 or other material approved hy the Director or his authorized representative.rt
You should contact a licensed septic tank pumper. l4any are listed in the ye11ow
pages of your telephone directory. Upon completion of abandonment you or your
representative should notify the Building Diyision of the City of Springfield for
an inspection at 726-3753.
You will have .thi.r.tv,(30\ days from the date of this letter to complete the above
and call for an inspection by the City. Your anticipated cooperation is appreciated.
