Mclean: on october 29, 2003' PBS conducted an asbestos survey of all suspect asbstos-containing materials to be impacted during the demolition of the vtitl & Grain Builiing located at South 2d& South B Street, in Springfield, oregon. This survey was conducted prior to demolitionactivities. One sample of suspect asbestos-containing roofing was collected from the only suspect material seen within the Mill and_Grain Building. The walls, floors, and ceiling upp"ur"d to contain onlywood products. The roofrng was composed of 3-tab shingles and associited feltltar. The onlypositive material discovered during field and laboratory anilysis is the roofing tar, found on theroofing felt. Please refer to the sample inventory on the following page for specific sample results andlocations. Other materials may be present concealed within wall, ceiling o, iloo, spaces. If suspect materials are uncovered during demolition or renovation activities thut a." not identified in this suryey, testing should be performed prior to impact.
