Dear Tom:
At your request I have inspected your two lots being
created by partition on Union Terrace for suitability for
building. No testing was done to determine soil bearing
vatues.
I found both lots to be higher than the property immed-
iately surrounding them to the North and East and generally
sloping in a Northwesterly direction. Lot A appears to be
well drained, while Lot B has some slightly wet areas in the
Northwest corner. Any foundation placed in these wet areas
should be placed on a pad of crushed rock or 6" minus bar-ru
at least 12 inches deep.
