Dear Mr. Vahala,
At your request, the Building Divjsion of the C'ity of Sprinofield made
a hous'ing inspection on August 4, 1978, at 6270 Thurston Road, Springfibld
0regon.
The follow"ing items must be repaired or replaced to conform w'ith the
Uniform Hous'inq Code as adopted by the C'ity of Springfield:
1. The house must be totally rewired.
2. The house must be totally replumbed.
3. Nearly one half of the house has cei'lings less than 7'0".
4. All rotting floors and walls must be replaced.
5. The stairs are il1ega1 and dangerous and must be replaced if used.
6. The wall framing around the stairs and chimney area must be rebuilt to providefire block'ing,etc.
7. The roof must be replaced.
Because of the-great cost of rep'lacement an! repair to make the building safe foroccupancy, it is my recommendation that it be dbmolished.
