f) FOUNDATI0N INSPECTI0N: To be made after trenches are excavated dnd forms erected and when all materials for the foundation
are de1ivered on the job. Where concrete from a central mixing plant (commonly termed "transit mixed") is to be used,

conduit, piping-accessories and other ancillary-equipment items are in place but be_f,ore any concre-te is p-oured

successive inspection without first obtaining the approval of the bujlding officia'I.. SUeh approval sha!l be givl'n onlyafter an inspection shal'l have been made of each successive step in the construction as indicated by each of the inspections

N0Tt: All building permits require inspections for the work authorized, such as but not l'imited to:'
A. BIOCK WALL; To be made after reinforcing is in p1ace, but before any grout is poured. This inspection is
required for each bond beam pour. There will be no approval until the plumbing and electricaf inspections
have been made and approved.
B. W00D ST0VE: To be made after compietion of masonry (if applicable) and when insta'llation is comolete.
Installation shall be in accordance with an approved nationally recognized testrng agency arrd the manu-
facturer's instal lation instructioni.
I'10BILE HOME: An inspection is required after the mobile home is connected to an approved sewer or septic
system for: setback requirements, blocking, footing connection, tiedowns, skirting, and plumbing
connecti ons.
(l) Footings and piers to comply with State foundation reqqiforqnt-s for mobile homes or as recommended
by the manufacturer.(2) Mobile home minimum finish floor elevation shall be certified when required by a floodplain
management letter.(3) l4ob'i'le home tiedowns, when required, and skirting shall be insta]led and ready for inspection
within at least 30 days after occupancy. Tiedowns and skirting shall be installed per enclosure.
D. SIIIMMING P00L: Below grade when steel is in place and bd{ore concrete is poured. Above grade when pool
is instal led.

Permits shall be effective for one year from the date of issuance.(t )
(2)Upon completing the construction for which a permit has been issued the permit holder shali notify the
Department by submitting the installation record f,orm. The Oepartment shali inspect the construction to
determine if it complies w.itl,i tte..rules contaipgd:in this divisiorq.. If the construction does comply vlith
such rules, the Department shalrl issue a certificate of satisfactory completiop to the permit holder. If the
construction'{oes.not conply rith'such rules,' the.Departmerlt'thalI notify. [he permit hgl(en'and shalI require
satisfactory conrpl'etion before isSuing the certificate. Failure to maet tl'ie requirements for satisfactory
completion within a reasonable time constitutes a violation of ORS 454.605 to 454.745 and this rule.
