This lettcr is written to infomr you of the prooess for the issuance of the permit for the placement of the
moved residence to 1260 West Quinalt Street and the approximate time lines that are now in place for the
completion of the projecr
The plans for the foundation were submited to the$ity of Springfield Community Services Division on'.3 February 20,1997. Following our review, the plans were reviewed by the Engineering Division of the
Public Works Departrrent to veriff any easements on the property and the proximity of sanitary facilities
for the residence to connect to. During the Engineering Divisions review, it was determined that there was
not an available sanitary sewer lind to serve the residencc, and with the possibility of future development in
the area, the Engineering Division required the owner to submit constmction drawings which were to be
prepared by a licensed engineer to construct a public sanitary sewer line. Because of the time line for the
pr€paration of the engineered drawings and the approval and completion of the new sanitary sewer line, the
Enginecring Division allowed the Community Services Division to issue ttre permit to move the residence
from is Eugene location to the proposed site. Due of the length of time it took to prepare and gain
Ecpcptance from the City's Enginecring Division for the new public saniary sewer line, the plans for the
foundation and utilities were not released by the Engineering Division to the Community Services Division
for issuance to F/ramid Constmction until August 18, 1997.
Since the perrrits have been issued, we have been informed by Pyramid Construction that the forms for the
foundation are now being set and the concrete will be poured within the next few days. Once the concrete
has curc4 the structure will be set on the foundation and work will begin on the alterations and utility
connections to the residence immediately. Pyramid Constnrction has informed us that work will continue
on the residence until the project has been completed.
