OP.974O4 33tg PnP"/,cetrL Expiies:6aa- 0/ RE: - Excavation, Fill & Compaction Testw.o. #11885_KMP As you requested, an inspection has been made during the performance of the excavation and placement of gravel fill on this site in preparation for the construction involving foundations for the placement of gravel fill on this site in pre paration for the construction involving foundations for the proposed residence. The excavation involved removal of surface organic soil and other unsuitable material and the placement of 18" minimum of 3/4" minus crushed rock in accordance with ourstandard procedures. The compacted surface of the crushed rockis adequate for a foundation bearingcapacity of 1000 psf, which is adequate to support the proposed conventional wood frame residence.The compaction of the gravel surface is grcater thanglzoof a standard proctor, per ASTM D69g-91.(See attached sheet.) A sump pump is to be installed lower than the gravel pad to drain storm water and pump it to areliable outlet. (See attached sump pump detail.)
