RE: Housing Inspection At 1432 Parker Street
Dear Mr. Schmeiding:
At your request, the Springfield Building Division made a housing inspectional L432 Parker Street, Springfield, 0regon. The 'inspection was conducted on
September 25, 1979.
The following items must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform
Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield:
1. The risers of the steps from the house into the garage and the steps at
the entry of the building must not be over 7% inches in height. In each
set of steps, the risers must be equa1.

2 Rep'lace the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater and drain it to
the exterior of the building.
The dryer vent must be metal through the wal I with cap and damper.
Use dielectric unions between galvanized and copper pipes.
Replace dishwasher drain hose connect'ions.
Install approved grounded branch circuits with three prong grounding
type receptacles at each of the counter space areas in the kitchen.
Replace a1'l three prong grounding receptacles from the two wire un-
grounded branch circuits with two prong receptacles.
Inst-all the branch circuits into the service panel jn an approved manner.
Install an approved grounded cjrcuit for and properly ground the dishwasher
Install a GFI receptacle in the bathroom.
Install the bedroom recessed light fixture by an approve manner w'ith proper
cl earances and vent'il ati on.
Secure all swjtch hnd receptacles by an approved method.

Permits must be obta'ined before work starts and all work shall be accomplished
in accordance with applicable codes. Property for rent, lease, or sale'is re-
quried to be wired by a licensed electrical contractor. All work must be jn-
spected and approved before a Certificate of Compfiance will be jssued.
