Dear Mr. McCauley
At your request, the Building D'ivision of the City of Springfield made a
housing inspect'ion on March 7, 1978 at 1261 Parker Street, Springfield
Oregon.
The following items must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform
Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield:
1. A fire wall should be'installed between house and garage. This requires
a'layer of 5/8" type X sheetrock from concrete to roof sheating.
2. Remove receptacles in the garage that are spliced into wiring.
3. Replace the missing switch and receptacle covers.
4. Water heater wires need a connector and wire nuts.
5. Replace the splice area cover.
6. Splices by kitchen door need a box, use box extentions where the new paneling
is installed.
All necessary permits shall be obtained before work starts and all work
shall be accomplished according to applicable codes and inspected before a
