Hello Jack,
I am looking at your patio cover plans this afternoon and I have some additional questions. As I look at your overhead
site plan, the patio appears to be 20'x 32' (minus the angled corner at the north east side), but the exterior elevation
end view shows an overall of 18'. Please clarify which is correct and let me know if the rafter spans change.
Also, do you have the manufactures product data with recommended uses for the "1" brackets that you are using. I
found an A88 bracket but only in 8" not l-0". lt also looks like the holes are already drilled in the brackets but I don't
have any information on the fasteners that are recommended by Simpson. lt looks like these should be through bolted
through the post and lag bolted into the rafter tail. Simpson is usually particular about their fasteners though.
