Ross 3900 Oregon Street Springfield, Oregon 97\77 RE: Fire Damage Report On 3850 Oregon Street, Springfield, Oregon Dear Mr. Ross: Pursuant to a fire in a building located at 3850 Oregon Street, Springfield,, Oregon on f'ebruary 30, 1980, an inspection vas macle by the Springfield Buil-d- ing Divisj-on on March 3, 1980. Most aII fl-oor supports, flooring, waI1 supports, ceiling joists, ancl roof rafters have essentially been d.estroyed. by fire. Also, all electrical wiring has either been heavily damaged. or completely destroyed by fire. Due to the extensive damage to the building ve do not feel it is possible to repair or rebuild the structure without exceedi-ng fifty (rO) percent of the value or the build.ing. In this situation, the entire building must be recon- structed to meet present day code requirements. We feel that the prudent eourse for you to pursue is to remove the structure entirely.
