Re: Occupancy Inspection at 3814 Oregon Street
Dear I{r. ltlalton:
At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springfield made an
occupancy inspection on November 7, L979 at 3841 Oregon Street, Springfield,
Oregon.
The following i-tems must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform
Building Code as adopted by the City of Springfield:
Remove the freezer so there is a clear space 30 inches wide and 36 inches
deep in front of the electrical panel box.
Provide sufficient electrical outlets so extension cords are not necessary.
Secure all electrical cables within 8 inches of boxes and every 41., feet along
the cab1e.
4, A11 exposed cable must be protected by a running board.
5. If there are over 10 children, you must provide a fenced yard meeting the
requirements of Section 22.02 (a) 5 of the Springfield Zoning Ordinance.
A11 applicable permits sha11 be obtained before work starts and all work shall be
inspected and approved by the Springfield Building Division.

Secti on 22.02 Yard Regulations
(a )Spec'iaI Yard Requ'irements :1. Churches, except rescue missions or temporary revivals, provided
s'ide and rear yards ha're a minimum width of 20 feet, the width may

thereon2. Hospitals, provided that the building used for hospital purposes
sha'll have at least 50 feet side and rear and 30 feet front yards.
3. Schools: Any building used for school purposes shall have at least
50 feet side anci rear yards and 30 feet fron.t yards.
4. Group Care Homes, homes for the aged and infirm and Nurs'ing homes
shali have at least 50 feet'interior yards and 30 feet front yards.

Service Stations: The minjrnum setback for pump islands shall be
18 feet.
Teiephone booths, bus stop shelters, and other special PUb]ic con-
venibnt structures shall not be requ'ired to observe setback pro-
vjsions described'in the foregoing articles, provided they have
been approved for vision cleaiance by the Traffic D'ivisjort of the
Public Works DePartment.
(b) Additional Provisions
1. Yard Condi ti ons :
Ercept as proviCed in this Ordinance, every required yard shall be
open and unobstructed. No yard or open space provided around any
