1. Electrical:Any permit issued under this appl-ication will include wiring in or on sign
structure. The supply wires for connection of sign must be covered on an electrical
permit. ELectrical connection must be made onLy by a Springfield Licensed ELectrical
Contractor.
2. Plans Required:This application is to be submitted with two complete sets of plans
drawn to sca1e, showing dimensions and height of sign; advertising message on sign; Loc-
ation of sign on property with dimensions to property lines; structuraL detaiLs of supports,
framing, bracing and footings; materials of construction for sign and sign structure;
electricaL equiprnent and lighLing; size and location of existing signs on property for
same business, all as required to determine compliance with the Springfield City Code
Chapter IX and Article 30 of the Springfield Comprehensive Zoning Code.
3. Spearate Sign Application: A se parate application is required for each separate sign as
defined in the Sign Code.
