Duling rny inspection I noted that 110 volt receptacles wired for A/C units do not meet N.E.C. code and present a safety hazard to personal. Outlets are being supplied frorn one lralf of a240 volt heat circuit with a neutral wire being supplied by the general lighting circuit. The A/C circuit is also over fused. This work was done by unlicensed personnel and without permits or inspection approvals. Because of the immediate hazard, it shall be required that all A/C units installed in this lnanner be disconnected by a qualified electrical contractor. A letter shall be submitted to this office verifying that they have been disconnected within 10 working days of the above date. Work will be required to be done and permitted by a licensed electrical contractor. The permit fees shall be twice the amount of the regular permit fees. This work shall be cornpleted within 90 days of the above date.
