Re: Occupancy Inspection at 1,233 Mil1 Street
Dear Lt. Dismore:
At your request, the Springfield Building Division nade an occupancy inspectionat 1233 Mil1 Street, Springfield, Oregon. The inspection occurred on August20, Lg7g.
The following items nust be repaired or replaced to confonn with the UniformBuilding Code as adopted by the City of Springfietd:
1. Steps-at the front and rear doors must have equal risers not over 7l inchesin height. The stoops must be a minimum of 4 feet by 4 feet in size.
2. A 3 foot by 6 foot 8 inch entry door is required.
3. A11 broken windows nust be repaired.
4. Floors and walls in the restroom must be of a smooth nonabsorbent surface asper Uniforn Building Code Section 1711 (a).
5. Two restroons are required if there are over 4 ernployees and both sexes are
employed.
6. The building will have to be wired with grounded circuitry.
7. The service equipment and all open spliced and general wiring must be broughtup to current electrical code requirenents.
8. Provide a plug for the automatic washer stand pipe, or provide an approved standpipe with P-Trap.
9' The water heater must have a drain pan, a new pressure relief valve. Both mustdrain to the exterior of the building.
10. A11 dead bolts nust be removed and entry locks replaced.

Permits nust be obtained before work starts and all work shall be accomplished
in accordance with applicable codes. Property for rent, lease or sale is re-
quired to be wired by a licensed electrical contractor. A11 work must be in-
spected and approved before a Certificate of Compliance will be issued.
