NATURE OF THE APPLICATION
The application is for Discretionary Use Approval to allow the expansion of anonconforming use on Tax Lot 4100, Assessor's Map L7-03-26-33, to allow astructural addition on an existing nonconforming accessory building.
1. 0n August 4, 1986, the following application for Discretionary Use Approvalto a'lIow expansion of a nonconforming use was accepted:
Kim Black (Jo. llo. 5-86-08-22) Tax Lot 4100, Assessor's Map 17-03-26-33.
Request for Discretionary Use Approval to allor expansion of a nonconforming
use.
The application was initiated and submitted in accordance with Section 3.050of the Springfield Development Code. Timely and sufficient notice of theDiscretionary Use hearing, under Section 14.030 of the Springfield
Deve'lopment Code, has been provided.
3. 0n September 3, 1986 a public hearing on the Discretionary Use request washeld. The Planning & Development Department staff notes and reconrnendation,as amended by the Planning Cornmission, together with the testimony and
submitta'ls of the persons testifying at that hearing have been considered
and are a part of the record of this proceeding.

0n the basis of this record, the requested Discretionary Use is consistent withthe applfcable criteria set forth in Section 10.030(1-3) of the Springfield
Development Code. This genera'l finding is supported by the specific finding offact and conclusions set out in the attached findings of fact adopted September3, 1986 (fxnibit A) and the findings and conclusions submitted by the Applicant(fxnibit B) and attached hereto.

It is 0RDERED by the P'lanning Commission of Springfie'ld that approval of Jo. No.
5-86-08-22, Discretionary Use, be GRANTED.
