General Notes
. Tables are based on:
- Uniform loads.
- More restrictive of simple or continuous span.
- Clear distance between supports (17n" minimum

. Assumed composite action with a single layer of 24"
on-center span-rated, glue-nailed floor panels for
deflection only. Spans shall be redused 6" when
lloor panels are nailed onlY.
. Spans generated trom Trus Joist software may
exceed the spans shown in these tables because
software reflects actual design conditions.

Attention: Chris Carpenter
P.E: 7236 Glacier Drive, Springfield, OR., Fire Damage Repair, WO#19315
On April 9,2009 I revisited the above noted site to observe the demolition and shoring
installed to date. Prior to demolition an initial plan was provided as a preliminary repair
plan. Additional construction details were observed during this visit.
Demolition to date has been removal of non structural walls and structural floor framing
and pony wall directly north of the garage in an area of approximately 24' equaling the
width of the garage and due north approximately 24' . Shoring has been provided at the
bearing walls below the kuss and roof system. The west wall will be reconnected to the
floor framing as work proceeds.
The fire damage area directly north of the covered porch area, approximately 26' wide,
will not be demolished until the initial demolition area has been replaced. A repair and
plbcement plan will be provided for continued construction. Damage not noted above that
is discovered during cleaning exposing repair of this structure shall be reported to the
engineer.
Please contact me if you have questions. The attached Building Analysis Report and
Statement of Conditions and Limitations is a part of this report. Thank you for this
opportunity to be of service.
Sincerely,
