Suite 2100 Beaverton, OR 97006 RE: Attachment requirements of the replacement RTU at Shari's in Springfield, OR To whom it concerns: At your request, we have reviewed the plans for the proposed mechanical unit at the address above and found the following: The replacement RTU per the plans should be attached to the curb adapter with (6) 14 ga. x 6" long steel brackets. One bracket is required at each corner of the curb adapter with and additional bracket centered along each length of the curb adapter. Each bracket should be attached to the mechanical unit with (4) #10 sheet metal screws and attached to the curb adapter with (4) #10 sheet metal screws. The curb adapter should be attached to the existing curb with (6) 14 ga. x 6" long steel brackets. One bracket is required at each corner of the existing curb with and additional bracket centered along each length of the existing curb. In lieu of steel brackets, the curb adapter may be directly attached to the existing curb w/ #10 self- tapping screws @ 12" o.c. around the entire curb perimeter.
