Thermal load pre-implementation will be finishing up with completion of the phase three study report (Todd Miller) 7 Projects Carried Over to FY 19-20 Class A Disinfection Facilities Riparian Shade Credit Program Recycled Water Demonstration Project Class A Disinfection – will allow us to produce Class A level recycle water suitable for use outside of the MWMC’s fence line The Recycled Water Demonstration Projects -- includes the urban street tree watering project in partnership with Eugene Parks and Open Space, And pumping Class A recycled water to Delta S&G for equipment washing and dust control operations The Riparian Shade Credit program which will develop shade credit under the PWP framework to potentially apply as offsets to the MWMC’s thermal load under a renewed MWMC NPDES permit 8 New Projects for FY 19-20 Aeration Basin Improvements – Phase 2 Administration Building Improvements AB Phase 2 – The bulk of that project is deferred to 2021 but a smaller portion will be implemented in 2020 to do a predesign study looking at improving the aeration efficiency of the existing phase 1 work. We will re-evaluate and potentially defer the full project anticipated for 2021 (which would modify the four western basins). For now, it is scheduled for 2021. Administration building improvements will address the needs for remodeling that were identified in the original bid package that also included the new maintenance building and new laboratory…but that bid option was not implemented yet those improvements are still needed. 9 FY 19-20 Capital Improvement Program Budget This is a partial rolled up version of Exhibit 13 that shows the total carryover and new funding adding up to the total FY 19-20 budget. 10 Regional Wastewater Asset Management Capital Program Equipment Replacement Major Rehabilitation 11 FY 19-20 Equipment Replacement Three Farm Tractors BMF and Biocycle Farm 12 FY 19-20 Equipment Replacement Pro Anion MCS ION Chromatograph with Laptop 13 FY 19-20 Equipment Replacement Sludge Blanket Level System Segmented Flow Analyzer LEL Detection System 14 FY 19-20 Equipment Replacement Cargo Van - Operations Small Shop Vehicle/Box Van - Plant 15 FY 19-20 Equipment Replacement Program Budget 16 Collector Mechanism, Clarifier Rake Arms Recoating - Secondary Roof Replacement – Gravity Belt Thickener Building FY 19-20 Major Rehabilitation Program 17 FY 19-20 Major Rehabilitation Program Dome Interior Coating Repair Digester #2 Roof Replacement – MWMC Modular Building, Plant 18 Dredge Rebuild - BMF FY 19-20 Major Rehabilitation Program 19 FY 19-20 Major Rehabilitation Program 20 FY 19-20 Regional Wastewater 5-Year Capital Programs 21 Questions / Comments The MWMC and the regional partners are committed to providing these services in a manner that will achieve, sustain, and promote balance between community, environmental, and economic needs while meeting customer service expectations 22
