Erin Selvey, 10 -Year Employee Recognition
Erin Selvey started with the City as a court clerk in April of 2009, she worked hard and
earned a promotion to Senior Clerk in August of 2015. Erin also serves as the SEIU
Union President and has been a very active member of the union for several years.
The Court has seen significant changes in Erin’s career going from DOS based computer
software, paper hand typed documents and files, and manual data entry, to some of the
newest innovations in court technology, case management, and paperless files and
documents.
Erin has not only grown in her technical abilities and court knowledge, but she has also
grown her skills in interacting with and relating to individuals from all walks of life, and
her abilities to coach and train other staff members.
Erin is the lead clerk on helping create innovative solutions for mental health cases in our
court. She has been instrumental in developing new processes to connect our court with
other agencies to work together to find help and resources for individuals struggling with
mental health issues that land them in the court system
