Meeting Notes
Attendees: Mayor Lundberg (COS), Marilee Woodrow (COS), Mike Dubick (LTD), Doris Towery (LTD), Gino Grimaldi
(COS), Ron Kilcoyne (LTD), and Frannie Brindle (ODOT). Staff: Tom Boyatt (COS), David Reesor (COS), Tonja Kling
(COS), Linda Pauly (COS), and John Evans (LTD). Citizens: Steve Moe.
I. Main Street Vision Update
Linda Pauly provided the maps used at the March 6th workshop. She also provided a handout that included
information received from the workshop along with information received from the Thurston High School Leadership
class which was also included in the GT packet. The information was verbatim taken from handouts provided to
both groups.
II. Main-McVay Transit Study Stakeholder Advisory Committee Update
John Evans presented three more applications to to the GT that were received after the GT packet was mailed out.
David Reesor provided a handout of the Draft Main McVay Stakeholder Advisory Group that included the
“Represented Category, Number of Positions for Each Category and the name of the applicant received”. The GT
agreed on the number of positions. The team brainstormed to provide David other avenues to recruit applicant.
Suggestions included: McKenzie Personnel, the Veterans, past budget committee members, Chambers Leadership
class and alumni. The GT also recommended that Staff look at the list of people who attended the Main Street
meetings held last summer. John and David will continue to recruit until the next GT meeting scheduled on April
24th and extend the deadline to receive applications. The group was okay with the current list of applicants but
would like to see more in the “Citizen at Large” group since only received 3 applications were received to-date.
