WORK SESSION
1. 2003-2008 Capital Improvement Program- Springfield’s CIP is a five-year plan for funding and construction of the City’s public
facilities which is updated annually. Projects were selected from a long list of needed capital improvements. Because of limited revenues, many projects cannot be funded during the next
five years.
The public input process for the CIP was started in October when citizens, organizations, and
City staff were asked to suggest projects for consideration in the CIP.
