WORK SESSION
1. Springfield Development Code Amendments - ESA- The Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed SDC amendments on April 2, 2002. Oral and written testimony were entered into the record. The Planning Commission closed the public hearing, kept the record open for two weeks for additional testimony and continued the item until May 7, 2002. Staff is responding to the issues raised by the April 2, 2002 public hearing and has continued the public hearing until June 4, 2002. However, before the continuation of the public hearing, staff would like to discuss four key issues with the Planning Commission. They are: 1) The impact of the proposed amendments on the Residential, Commercial and Industrial Land Inventories; 2) Goal 5 and Goal 6 concerns; 3) Riparian area width options; and 4) Permitted uses within riparian areas. Staff will distribute materials for each topic at the work session. Staff has mailed notice of this work session to all those who submitted written testimony or who presented oral testimony on April 2, 2002. (Gary Karp) 2. ADJOURN
