WORK SESSION
1. Capital Improvement Program 2002 / 2007-
Springfield's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a five-year plan funding and construction of the City's public facilities and is updated annually. Projects were selected from a long list of needed capital improvements. Because of limited revenues, many projects cannot be
funded during the next five years. The public input process for the CIP was started in October when citizens, organizations and
City staff were asked to suggest projects for consideration in the CIP. After Planning Commission reviews the draft CIP, the City Council will review it in a work session on February 4, 2002 and then will hold a public hearing prior to adopting it on February 19,
