Appointment of a Springfield Planning Commission representative to the LTD Station Design Review Committee- A site for the new, downtown Springfield LTD station has been selected on South A Street between Pioneer Parkway East (3rd Street) and 4th Street. LTD is now forming a Downtown Station Design Review Committee (Station DRC) that will be charged with providing guidelines to the Lane Transit District Board of Directors on key design issues for the new station. Affordable Housing Implementation Project - In May 2001, the Planning Commission reviewed and approved several code revision options to be included in the Affordable Housing Implementation project. Since that time staff has been working with a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) developing proposed code language for the following code. (Kay Bork) 3. Adjourn as Planning Commission WORK SESSION as Committee for Citizen Involvement (CCI) 1. Neighborhood Associations - The City has seven recognized Neighborhood Associations. The status of these associations is unclear since most of them do not adhere to the association responsibilities of the Citizen Involvement Program for complying with the provisions of the required bylaws pertaining to Active/Inactive Status. Staff seeks directions from the CCI regarding how to establish the status of each association and how to monitor status and activity in the future. (Mel Oberst) 2.
